Today marks a new chapter.
We’re thrilled to share that Kavida has been acquired by global leader in manufacturing and supply chain software, QAD. Redzone (QAD’s frontline productivity platform) and Champion AI (its agentic execution suite) empower thousands of manufacturing teams around the world.
And now, our agents will join the Champion AI family to do the same.
This story begins with one problem we set out to solve many years ago.
We founded Kavida nearly five years ago, in the aftermath of COVID, to fix a stubborn truth: too much manufacturing execution still runs on email and spreadsheets. Since then, we’ve poured five years into focused R&D, conducted hundreds of user interviews, and engaged with over 100 manufacturing companies.
Up close, we’ve watched thousands of purchase orders move across hundreds of suppliers and more than hundreds of millions in spend. The patterns we noticed were consistent and costly.
When execution lives in outdated fulfilment methods, orders go unconfirmed, PO changes get missed or misapplied, documents scatter across threads, and risks surface only after they’ve disrupted the plan.
The impact is severe. Manufacturers can expect to lose 42% of a single year’s profit every decade due to missing or late parts.
It doesn’t have to be this way. That’s why we built Kavida’s agents.
From the moment a supplier order is raised through to 3-way match. The agent chases confirmations, tracks changes, flags line-stop risks, and closes the loop in your ERP.
From supplier selection and RFQ creation through to award and handoff. The agent sources alternates, normalises quotes, checks spec compliance, and recommends award decisions with audit trails.
From processing customer RFQs through to order acknowledgement and fulfilment. The agent accelerates quoting, manages promise dates, and provides valuable insights for upsell and re-engagement.
QAD – and the Redzone team within it – has spent years championing productivity and engagement for manufacturing’s frontlines. They’ve helped factory teams communicate across language barriers and brought AI into the flow of work with transcription, translation, and practical assistance where it matters most: on the line.
This heritage is exactly why QAD is the right home for Kavida’s agents. Together we can scale faster, connect deeper into operations, and meet teams where they work.
Champion AI is QAD’s suite of capabilities designed to enable plant teams with AI-generated assistance and agentic execution. It carries out tasks on behalf of your teams so you can focus on solving problems proactively, how you were always meant to.
With Champion AI, plants move beyond buzzwords to proactively address daily realities:
Kavida’s Agents are joining this platform as Champion Agents – tightly connected to the ERP core – so execution shifts from reactive to self-optimizing across procurement, supply assurance, and customer order fulfillment.
By integrating Kavida.ai’s technology and team, we’re helping our customers unlock value faster — automating critical workflows, improving supply-chain reliability, and giving every buyer, planner, and supplier a powerful digital co-pilot.

With QAD, we will accelerate our roadmap. We’ll invest even more in agentic AI across manufacturing teams, expand how agents reason across noisy realities, and connect their actions more deeply with the ERP and the plant floor.
Email, spreadsheets, and disconnected systems won’t be where execution lives. Champion Agents will. And your teams will have the time and clarity to focus on quality, throughput, and customer promises.
Thank you to our customers, partners, and team. This next chapter is for you – and built with you. We couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.
